The latest release (7.11) of the SilverLining Sky, 3D Cloud and Weather SDK now includes pre-built binaries, project files, and solution files for the new Visual Studio 2026! We’ve developed and tested it against the free Community Edition. You’ll find the new libraries under the vc145 directory, available for win32, x64, and arm64 architectures (download our arm64-specific SDK for ARM support!)

While Visual C++ 2026 is backward compatible with libraries compiled with Visual Studio 2015 or newer, it’s always a good idea to keep your toolsets consistent if you can. Visual Studio 2026’s toolset is vc145.

We’ve also rebuilt our Visual Studio 2022 libraries and DLL’s against the newest release of Visual Studio 2022 in this release.

With the Triton Ocean SDK, we’ll have to wait until NVidia releases a CUDA Toolkit compatible with Visual Studio 2026 – but for now, you should be able to continue using Triton’s binaries built with the Visual Studio 2022 / vc143 toolset with your Visual Studio 2026 projects.
